1. The Scriptures
We believe the Bible, in its original manuscripts, is the verbally inspired, inerrant Word of God, and is the final authority for faith and practice (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21).
2. The Trinity
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — equal in power and glory (Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14).
3. God the Father
We believe in God the Father, an infinite, personal Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love, who concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men (Psalm 90:2; 1 Timothy 1:17).
4. God the Son
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, substitutionary death on the cross for our sins, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, and personal, imminent return (John 1:1, 14; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Acts 1:9-11).
5. God the Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, regenerates and indwells every believer at salvation, and empowers the believer to live a godly life and understand the Scriptures (John 16:8-11; Romans 8:9; Ephesians 1:13).
6. The Depravity of Man
We believe man was created in the image of God but fell into sin, and as a result, all people are born spiritually dead and separated from God, unable to save themselves by any effort or works of their own (Romans 3:23; Ephesians 2:1-3).
7. Salvation
We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone — not by works. Salvation is received the moment a person places personal faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ, and it is eternally secure (Ephesians 2:8-9; John 10:28-29).
8. The Church
We believe the local church is a body of baptized believers voluntarily joined together for worship, fellowship, discipleship, and the spread of the Gospel, and that each local church is autonomous, governed under the headship of Christ (Acts 2:41-47; Colossians 1:18).
9. Baptism and the Lord's Supper
We believe in believer's baptism by immersion as a public testimony of faith following salvation, and the Lord's Supper as a symbolic memorial of Christ's death, to be observed by believers until He returns (Acts 8:36-39; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26).
10. Separation
We believe Scripture calls believers to personal holiness and separation from worldliness, as well as ecclesiastical separation from apostasy and compromise, while maintaining a bold, uncompromised witness for the Gospel (2 Corinthians 6:14-17; Romans 12:1-2).
11. The Family
We believe God ordained marriage as the union of one man and one woman, and instituted the family as the foundational institution of society, with distinct, complementary roles for husbands, wives, and children (Genesis 2:24; Ephesians 5:22-6:4).
12. Creation
We believe in the literal six-day creation account of Genesis, that God created the universe and all life, and reject the theory of evolution as an explanation for origins (Genesis 1-2; Exodus 20:11).
13. The Second Coming
We believe in the personal, imminent, pretribulational return of Jesus Christ for His church, followed by the tribulation, the millennial reign of Christ, the final judgement, and the creation of a new Heaven and a new Earth and the casting into the lake of fire for those who rejected Christ and never repented while living. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 20:1-15).
14. The Great Commission
We believe every believer is called to share the Gospel and make disciples, both locally and to the ends of the earth (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8).
